Absolute world champion Terence Crawford was one of the priority candidates for Jake Paul’s next fight, but in the end, the blogger’s team chose a fight with Anthony Joshua. Paul’s promoter Nakisa Bidarian said about it.
“When it became clear that we were giving up the fight with Gervonta Davis, we already had a list of possible opponents. The three names Jake is most interested in are Ryan Garcia, Terence Crawford and Anthony Joshua.
There were about 30 fighters in total ready to go against Jake. Among them were AJ and Crawford, but in the end we reached an agreement with Joshua,” Bidarian explained.
