A possible venue for the Ukraine playoff final has been named

Polish sports journalist Piotr Volosik shared information that the final match of the play-off, in the event that the national teams of Ukraine and Poland enter it, can be organized on the territory of Poland. At the same time, he noted that the number of Polish fans will be significantly limited.

“Regarding a hypothetical match with Ukraine. We are considering a version in which the game will take place in Poland, but with a limited number [польських] fans, and admission to the stadium will only be given to fans who have Ukrainian fan cards,” Volosik said.

Ukraine and Poland can play each other in the decisive match of the play-off qualification for the 2026 World Cup. This will become possible if the Ukrainian national team beats Sweden, and Poland, in turn, beats Albania.

It is worth adding that none of the national teams that were seeded in the first basket will have the opportunity to hold a potential final playoff match at their own stadium.
