According to the official, the new range of ammunition has already received the necessary codes, and manufacturers are ready to start mass production. Ammunition is designed to more effectively combat enemy FPV drones and Mavics.
“Their feature is a special combat unit, which multiplies the chance of shooting down a Russian drone. In addition, such cartridges do not require separate weapons – they can be equipped with regular weapons,” Shmyhal explained.
He also noted that the Ministry of Defense continues to expand the list of modern weapons.
“We are working to ensure that even more new and effective weapons appear in the arsenal of our military, strengthening their combat power and the defense capability of Ukraine,” the minister concluded.
