During the Food from Ukraine 2025 conference, the Deputy Minister of Economy, Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine Taras Vysotskyi discussed the creation of agricultural hubs in this country with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the UAE Sultan Al Shamsi.
It is reported Minieconomics.
“This will allow to optimize logistics and increase the efficiency of food delivery to those who need it the most,” the Ministry of Economics said in a statement.
Agrohubs will accept Ukrainian products for packaging and distribution to countries that need help, including Gaza, Sudan, Kenya, Somalia and other regions.
“Ukraine has long played a key role in global food security and is a reliable partner for the countries of the Global South. Despite the war and Russia’s attempts to hinder our exports, since 2022 we have delivered more than 40% of Ukrainian grain exports to Asia, Africa and Latin America. We do not just deliver food, but offer technologies, experience and production models that ensure long-term food stability,” Taras Vysotsky emphasized.
Earlier, the Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine and the Ministry of Food and Agriculture of the Republic of Ghana signed a memorandum of understanding on the creation of a Center for Processing and Distribution of Ukrainian Products in West Africa.
The Food from Ukraine 2025 conference brought together more than 100 official and business delegations, including African countries, international organizations, and Ukrainian producers of agricultural machinery and food products.
