10 dead and 37 injured in Ternopil, there are people under the rubble – the Ministry of Internal Affairs

10 people were killed and another 37, including 12 children, were injured as a result of a Russian attack on residential areas of Ternopil in the morning of November 19.

Direct speech of the minister: “In Ternopil… two 9-story residential buildings were damaged. In one – a fire, in the other – destruction from the 3rd to the 9th floor. As of 10:00: 10 dead; 37 injured (of which 12 are children). Rescuers continue to evacuate people from blocked apartments. There are people under the rubble.”

Details: Klymenko reminded that Lviv Oblast, Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast and Ternopil Oblast were under a massive attack by the Russians. Currently, there are about half a thousand rescuers and over a hundred pieces of equipment working at 9 locations.

According to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Points of Invincibility, mobile kitchens and tents were deployed on the ground, where victims can write statements and ask for help.

“The police can limit access to damaged objects – please follow the established rules. This is solely for the safety of people and the preservation of property,” Klymenko said.

• In the morning of November 19 Russia attacked Ukraine with drones and missiles. Explosions were heard in Khmelnytskyi, Ivano-Frankivsk, Rivne, Lviv and Dnipropetrovsk regions.
