The Scottish national team beat Denmark (4:2) in the home match of the 2026 World Cup qualifying cycle.

The home side started strongly and, as it turned out, scored with the first and only shot on goal in the first half, while the visitors outplayed them in every way from then on.

However, in response, Denmark scored a goal just before the break, after which a dismissal in its composition gave the Scots the opportunity to seize the initiative.
