Details: On the night of November 19, two Eurofighter Typhoon fighters took off from the Mykhail Kogelnicanu Air Base in Romania to monitor the air situation on the border with Ukraine during Russian airstrikes.

At 00:20, an air alert was announced in the northern part of the Romanian county of Tulcea. Soon, the radars detected the signal of the drone, which, according to the Ministry of Defense, entered about 8 km into the airspace of Romania – from the Ukrainian Vilkovo to the Romanian Periprava and Kilia-Veke, where it disappeared from the radar.
According to the military, the drone periodically appeared on the radar for about 12 minutes – from the Moldovan village of Kolibashy to the Romanian commune of Foltest, and later in the Oancha area.
At 00:59, an air alert was also announced in the northern part of Galati County. After that, two more F-16 fighters of the Romanian Air Force took to the sky.
At around 01:50, the Eurofighters returned to the air base, and the F-16s at around 02:30.
