Former absolute world champion Mike Tyson expressed doubt as to whether Oleksandr Usyk would be able to dominate in the era of his generation.
“Do you know why Usyk could not dominate in my time? Because boxing was different then. Everyone appreciated aggressiveness.
The classic boxer did not score many points and did not take rounds. As soon as we entered the ring – aggressive fighters – we were given rounds. Everything depended on excitement,” the legendary American concluded.
Previously, the legendary heavyweight Mike Tyson recalled the confrontation against Pinklon Thomas. In 1987, Tyson knocked out Thomas in the sixth round and defended the WBA and WBC titles.
