The only and decisive goal was scored in the first half at the 25th minute: Petur Knudsen scored after a corner kick. Despite the fact that Kazakhstan had more possession (60%), the islanders were sharper in attack, scoring almost twice as many shots, and it was their tactical discipline and implementation of the “standard” that brought a well-deserved victory.
