The Russian occupiers have advanced near several settlements in the Donetsk region over the past day. This was reported by analysts of the DeepState OSINT project on Tuesday, November 18.
“The enemy has advanced near Yampol, Novoekonomichny, Myrolyubivka, Volodymyrivka, and Sofiivka,” the message reads.
According to the DeepState map, over the past day the enemy has advanced in three directions, capturing 12.76 square meters. km of Ukrainian territory, at the same time ““gray zone” increased by 3.9 square meters. km
Earlier, the 7th Airborne Assault Corps reported that the number of skirmishes in Pokrovsk was increasing and Russian losses from direct fire were increasing. In total, since the beginning of the month, the Defense Forces have eliminated 314 occupiers in the city, and another 71 were injured.

ISW believes that the Russian command prioritizes the capture of Pokrovsk rather than its encirclement. The invaders are advancing in the north and east of the city.
On November 15, it became known that the Defense Forces of Ukraine carried out an air strike on the highway near Pokrovsk to cut off the logistics routes of the Russian occupiers on the approaches to the city.
In a November 16 report, ISW analysts indicated that Russian forces are trying to complete the encirclement of Ukrainian forces in Pokrovsk and Myrnograd.
