Actors are used to playing relatives.
The stars have known each other for many years / Collage UNIAN / Screenshot, photo instagram/sophietKit Harington and Sophie Turner, who for many years played half-brother and sister Jon Snow and Sansa Stark in “Game of Thrones”, met again on the set.
As The Independent writes, in the new gothic horror “The Dreadful” their characters enter into a romantic relationship, which became a real challenge for both actors. 38-year-old Harington admitted that he felt very strange, because the audience is used to perceiving them as a family.
At first, Turner did not even realize the scale of the romantic line – she sent the script to her partner without reading how close their characters should be. When it came time to film the first kiss, both described the scene as awkward and disgusting. Harington joked that he had to stand on a box of apples for the shot to match Turner’s height.
The film, directed by Natasha Kermani, tells the story of Anna (Turner), whose peaceful life is disrupted by the appearance of a mysterious stranger, played by Harington. Despite the difficult start, the actors admitted that working on the film gave them back the feeling of old friendship. Harington noted that their bond on set was completely rekindled, and he was excited to work alongside Turner again.
