INFORMATION FROM THE GENERAL STAFF OF THE ARMY REGARDING THE SITUATION AT THE FRONT (22:00)
Today, the communities of border settlements, including Malushyne, Stara Huta, Bobylivka of the Sumy region, were affected by enemy artillery fire; Khrinivka, Klyusy, Chernihiv region.
Since the beginning of the day, there have been seven combat clashes with enemy troops in the North-Slobozhansk and Kursk directions. In addition, the enemy carried out three airstrikes, dropped eight guided aerial bombs, and also carried out 61 attacks on the positions of our troops and populated areas.
In the South-Slobozhansk direction, the Defense Forces repelled four enemy attacks near Vovchansk and towards the settlement of Dvorichanske. Two more clashes are still ongoing.
In the Kupyansk direction, the Russian occupiers tried three times to break through our defenses in the areas of Pishchane and Stepova Novoselivka settlements. So far, two clashes are ongoing.
In the Lyman direction, the invading army launched six attacks against the positions of Ukrainian units near the settlements of Novy Mir, Zarichne, and Drobysheve. Three combat clashes are ongoing.
Nine enemy attacks were repulsed by the Defense Forces in the Slavic direction. The aggressor was active in the areas of Dronivka, Serebryanka, Siversk and Fedorivka.
In the Kramatorsk direction today, the enemy attacked our positions twice in the area of Stupochky and Orihovo-Vasylivka.
In the direction of Kostyantynivka, the enemy carried out 15 assaults in the areas of Shcherbynivka, Rusyny Yar, Yablunivka, and towards Kostyantynivka and Sofiivka.
In the Pokrovsky direction, the Russian invaders made 18 attempts to dislodge our defenders from their occupied positions in the areas of Mayak, Fedorivka, Rodynske, Chervyn Liman, Pokrovsk, Kotline, Udachne, Molodetske and Dachne settlements. The defense forces are holding back the onslaught and have already repelled 15 enemy attacks. Battles continue in three locations.
Ukrainian units are conducting strike and search operations in several areas, destroying the enemy.
In the Oleksandrivskyi direction, the enemy tried to break through the defenses of our defenders in the areas of Zeleny Gay, Vorone, Sosnivka, Berezovo and Pershotravneve settlements. Defense forces repelled seven enemy assaults.
Since the beginning of the day, our defenders have repelled five attacks by the occupiers in the area of Sweety, Rivnopil and Zeleny Gayu in the Gulyaipil direction, and another combat clash is ongoing. Enemy aircraft struck populated areas, including Vozdvizhivka and Biloghirya.
At the moment, no combat clashes have been recorded in the Orykhiv direction.
In the Dnieper direction, the enemy tried twice in vain to approach the positions of our defenders.
