In a special episode, new and unexpected participants will take to the dance floor.

For the first time in 4 years, one of the most favorite projects of millions of Ukrainians, “Dancing with the Stars”, returns to TV screens in the format of a New Year’s Eve special to unite the audience around a great charitable goal. “Movement to life” – with this new slogan, “Dancing with the Stars” will be held, in order to restore to the audience faith in the future and life, which continues in spite of everything. So that everyone gets a charge of inspiration and strength to move on and even in the midst of darkness feel: You are not alone.

The project will start again at 1+1 Ukraine with new meanings, participants and a great charitable goal. Together with the all-Ukrainian state-of-the-art war trauma center, the Superhumans Center collects funds for targeted evacuation. This is the latest system of rapid transportation of seriously wounded soldiers without wasting time. Wounded fighters from the front line are transported to the operating rooms of Superhumans, where they receive highly specialized care, which increases the chances of saving a limb and returning to a full life. Thanks to this, the average duration of evacuation was reduced to 17, and sometimes 15 hours from the moment of injury. These are decisive hours that often determine whether a limb or even a life can be saved.

The maintenance and operation of two Superhumans evacuation vehicles costs about 10 million UAH per year, and one evacuation costs from 30 to 45 thousand UAH. This is the price for our defenders to have a chance not only to survive, but also to return to a full-fledged life – to walk, work, hug their relatives. The center does not receive state funding, exists thanks to donor funds and constant fundraising and provides assistance completely free of charge. In order for as many defenders as possible to get the help they need, the 1+1 Ukraine channel and the project “Dancing with the Stars. Movement for Life” join forces with the Superhumans Center. You can donate to the collection right now by following the link. Each contribution is another life saved, another hero who will get a chance to recover.

In a special episode of “Dancing with the Stars”, new and unexpected participants will appear on the dance floor. The creators of the show will reveal who exactly will be on the dance floor this time. Fans can also expect a renewed line-up of judges and bright musical numbers, which will make this evening a real celebration of inspiration, beauty and strength of spirit.

“Dancing with the Stars” has always been about movement – now it takes on a new, deeper meaning for all Ukrainians. Therefore, the project will return to 1+1 Ukraine to inspire Ukrainians to move towards life and show that together we are building a country of superhumans who, despite everything, continue to live, love and create,” comments Maksym Kryvytskyi, director of the television business of 1+1 media.

The Big Brave Events team led by producer Volodymyr Zavadyuk is working on the creation of the project.

The super-partner of the special edition of “Dancing with the Stars” is the Superhumans Center.

Superhumans Center is an all-Ukrainian war trauma center specializing in prosthetics, rehabilitation, reconstructive surgery, hearing restoration and psychological support of Ukrainians affected by the war. Both military and civilian (adults and children) can become patients of the center. In just over 2 years of operation, Superhumans has performed nearly 2,000 complex face and limb reconstruction surgeries, and manufactured more than 2,200 prostheses.

A separate and important direction of the center’s work is targeted evacuation. For several months now, Superhumans has been receiving wounded fighters evacuated directly from the front line. This is the latest life-saving evacuation method. Tens of thousands of Ukrainians lost their limbs due to the war started by Russia. Superhumans makes sure that they are not left alone with their injury – they receive the best medical care at home, in Ukraine.

The targeted evacuation model was developed by the Ministry of Health at the initiative of the medical service of the 12th “Azov” brigade of NSU together with the Superhumans center. The first such approach was used by individual units in agreement with health care institutions. In the summer of 2025, the Cabinet of Ministers approved a resolution according to which the targeted evacuation model applies to the entire system of providing assistance to wounded soldiers. During the first year of operation, more than 160 patients were successfully evacuated, 25 of them were delivered directly by Superhumans teams. In August 2025, the Superhumans employed two of their own evacuation teams – twice a week they deliver the wounded from places close to the battle line immediately to the operational Superhumans.
