The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Andriy Sybiga, called on partners to change their approach to support: to move from the principle of “as much as necessary” to “as much as possible”. He emphasized that the international community has enough opportunities to force Russia to stop the war, but for this it is necessary to give up its own illusions and get rid of the illusions of the enemy.
Sybiga wrote about this in the X social network.
According to the minister, the war will stop when two key factors are present that will dispel Putin’s illusions:
He will have no illusions that he will somehow be able to in the end win on the battlefield.
The price of continuing the war for him and his regime will exceed the price of stopping it.
Sybiga called on partners to finance the production of drones in Ukraine, stressing that this is a decisive factor in the modern arms race.
“The modern arms race is not nuclear weapons, but millions of cheap drones. Those who can increase their production faster will ensure peace,” said the minister.
Sybiga emphasized that Ukraine can produce up to 20 million drones next year if it receives sufficient and quick funding for the defense industry, which is the largest source of defense innovation in the world.
The minister summarized that Ukraine is in a “race against time, both in resources and in technology,” and the country needs parity and superiority to force Putin to stop the war.
Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andriy Sybiga commented on the recent corruption scandal in Ukraine during a meeting with G7 colleagues on Wednesday.
We will remind that the Minister foreign of Ukrainian Affairs will attend the G7 summit in Canada.
