Legendary striker Cristiano Ronaldo supported the Portuguese national team before the final qualifying match for the 2026 World Cup.
The Portuguese team met the Armenian national team at home, having a chance to go directly to the mundial from the first place.
Cristiano misses the home match due to the straight red card that Ronaldo received in the lost match against Ireland (0:2).
“Strength is in the team! All together – today and always! For Portugal and for our flag,” Cristiano wrote.
The national teams of Portugal and Armenia started the game at 16:00 at the Estadio do Dragau in the city of Porto, while Hungary hosts Ireland in Group F.
