The second racket of the world in men’s singles Yannick Sinner made it to the finals of the 2025 APR Final Tournament.

In the semifinals, the Italian lost in two sets Alex de Minaur (Australia, ATP 7) in 1 hour and 53 minutes.

This was the 13th head-to-head confrontation between the rivals. Yannyk won the 13th victory over Alex.

In the group stage of the ATP Finals, Sinner defeated Felix Auger-Aliassime, Alexander Zverev and Ben Shelton. In the final, he will fight against either Carlos Alcaraz or Auger.

Yannick became the second player since Novak Djokovic (2018) to reach the Finals final without dropping a game on his serve.

Sinner is performing at Pidsumkovo for the third time in his career and reached the final for the third time. In 2024, he won the trophy. For Yannick, this will be the 33rd final in his career at the Tour level and the tenth in the 2025 season.

Sinner is the third player to reach the finals of all Grand Slams and ATP Finals in a season, after Roger Federer (2006, 2007) and Novak Djokovic (2015, 2023).
