About this stated President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi.
“Parallel with a full review of financial activities, the management of these companies should be updated. Today, together with the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Yulia Svyridenko, and the Minister of Economy, Oleksiy Sobolev, we determined the course of action,” the president said.
Zelenskyi said that the following steps are planned:
- “Energoatom”: within a week, it was ordered to provide the conditions for the formation of a new supervisory board and a complete reboot of the board.
- “Ukrhydroenergo”: a competition for a new company manager and the formation of the supervisory board will be held urgently.
- Operator of the gas transportation system of Ukraine: competition for the post of general director and the formation of the supervisory board.
- “Naftogaz of Ukraine”: the contracts of the current members of the supervisory board expire in January 2026. A completely new composition of the council should work from January.
