Head coach of the Polish national team Jan Urban shared his emotions after his team’s match against the Netherlands (1:1) in qualifying for the 2026 World Cup.
“I am satisfied. Compared to our first match in the Netherlands, we controlled the ball better and created more chances.
We had to make some changes because some players were injured and some were suspended, but the substitutes showed their quality. So again – I’m really happy.
I liked both Robert Lewandowski’s pass and Jakub Kaminski’s finish. For a striker, he did everything very well. He was not nervous, remained calm, and his shot was accurate and confident. It was a really good combination,” Urban said.
