A famous trainer Oleg Dulub was not satisfied with the game Ilya Zabarny in a match against the main team of France.
“This is probably Zabarny’s worst match for the national team. Passes passed behind his back and in general he did not feel as comfortable as when playing with two central defenders with Matvienko. Perhaps it was the new combination of players on defense that affected him so much. In general, a very weak match performed by Ilya,” said Dulub.
On November 13, the Ukrainian national team played an away match of the 2026 World Cup qualification in Group D against the French team. The meeting took place at the Parc des Princes stadium in Paris, the capital of France. The match ended with a score of 4:0 in favor of the hosts.
