Defender of the French PSG and the Ukrainian national team Ilya Zabarny may not be worried about his prospects in the team, despite the criticism that has been heaped on the player recently.
According to Le Parisien, the coaching staff of PSG is aware of the pressure on the 23-year-old footballer, but they fully trust the defender and count on Ilya in the long term.
The management of the Paris club is not going to pay attention to criticism from the French press, because it understands that Zabarny “needs a period of adaptation, where he will have to cope with a new environment, a different language and other tasks from the coach, which are different from those in the Premier League.”
Zabarny moved to the French championship during the summer transfer window from the English “Bournemouth” for 63 million euros. The Ukrainian defender played 14 matches in all tournaments, in which he scored one goal.
