Details: During the meeting, the ministers confirmed their unwavering support for Ukraine in protecting its territorial integrity and the right to existence, freedom, sovereignty and independence.

“We reaffirmed that an immediate ceasefire is imperative. We agreed that the current contact line should be the starting point for negotiations. We remain committed to the principle that international borders should not be changed by force,” the statement said.
“We are increasing economic costs for Russia and exploring measures against countries and organizations that help finance Russia’s military efforts,” the ministers added.
They also condemned the provision of military aid to Russia by North Korea and Iran, as well as the supply of dual-use weapons and components by China, which is a crucial factor contributing to Russia’s war.
“We have taken into account the ongoing discussions regarding a wide range of financing options, including the continued use of immobilized Russian sovereign assets in our jurisdictions on a coordinated basis to support Ukraine,” the statement said.
The ministers also condemned Russia’s recent direct attacks on energy infrastructure and reaffirmed support for Ukraine’s energy security.
At the request of Ukraine on the sidelines of the “Group of Seven” meeting in Canada a meeting also took place Ukrainian Minister Andrii Sybiga with the foreign ministers of Italy, Germany, France and the top diplomat of the European Union.
