Details: According to the sources of the UP in political circles, the statement of the head of the OP almost coincided in time with the receipt by the Office of the President of the information that NABU and SAP are preparing measures, in particular, on Yermak.
What happened before: November 7 Head of the Office of the President Andrii Yermak reported about the exposure of a group of fraudsters, one of whom posed as a cousin of the head of the OP. Yermak expressed confidencethat the criminals will receive a fair punishment.
Later, the capital’s police reported the details of the exposure of a fraudulent scheme involving the namesake of the head of the Office of the President, who presented himself as his cousin and offered employment for management positions in the OP for money.

According to anti-corruption experts, the participants in the investigation built a large-scale corruption scheme to influence strategic enterprises of the state sector, in particular JSC NAEK Energoatom.
- Later, NABU and SAP began to make public audio recordings from the investigation of a large-scale corruption scheme in the energy sector. The operation is codenamed “Midas”.
- On November 12, the Cabinet of Prime Minister Yulia Svyridenko decided to make a submission to the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) regarding the introduction of sanctions against Timur Mindich and his main financier Oleksandr Zukerman.
