The latest feature in the Scary Movie franchise is unmasking more of its cast.

Damon Wayans Jr., Kim Wayans and Heidi Gardner are the latest additions to director Michael Tiddes’ new film that Paramount Pictures will release in theaters globally on June 12, 2026. Among the newly confirmed franchise notables who are returning to the sixth Scary Movie film are Cheri Oteri, Chris Elliott, Lochlyn Monroe, Dave Sheridan and Jon Abrahams.

Franchise favorites Marlon Wayans, Shawn Wayans, Regina Hall and Anna Faris were previously announced as leading the cast. Production is currently underway on the project that has a script from Marlon Wayans, Shawn Wayans, Keenen Ivory Wayans and Rick Alvarez, who all serve as producers.

Other franchise newcomers who are set to appear in the reboot include Olivia Rose Keegan, Savannah Lee Nassif, Cameron Scott Roberts, Sydney Park, Gregg Wayans, Ruby Snowber and Benny Zielke.

Known for satirizing horror flicks, the Scary Movie films launched with the first title hitting theaters in 2000 before spawning four sequels. Paramount is handling global distribution for the upcoming film through its first-look deal with producer Miramax, which distributed the first three features.

Starring Faris as Cindy and Hall as Brenda, the former Scary Movie opened in July 2000 with $42 million at the domestic box office. The title set records for the biggest opening weekend for an R-rated horror film and a Black director. Marlon and Shawn Wayans starred in the first two movies, while Keenen Ivory Wayans wrote and helmed the projects.

Wayans Jr. is represented by UTA, Ziffren Brittenham and Johnson Shapiro. Kim Wayans is repped by KFM Management. Gardner is repped by CAA, OPE Partners and Hansen Jacobson. Oteri is repped by Brave Artists Management and Goodman Genow. Elliott is repped by UTA and Vault Entertainment.

Deadline was first to report on the latest cast additions.
