Forward Inter Miami Lionel Messi in an interview in Spanish Sport shared his thoughts on adapting to the MLS and plans for the end of his career.

“We enjoy life and football in a different way – more calmly, without the crazy responsibility to always win. Of course, we want to win, but the pressure is different. There is more time for family, children, for ordinary life. Before the result determined my mood, I could come home annoyed. Now everything is different. We are happy.”

“Football is my life. I like to play, to compete, I hate to lose. Every time I step on the field, I want to win. It’s my challenge to help the team grow. When we came here, the club was very young. We wanted to make it competitive, and I think we succeeded. As long as I feel good physically, I will play, fight and give my best. When I realize that I can’t anymore or I’m not having fun — then I’ll stop. But now I’m enjoying every moment.”

We will remind, Messi won the Ballon d’Or eight times.
