Details: As noted, an aerial alert was sent to residents of the northern part of Tulcea county overnight after the radars of the Romanian Ministry of Defense detected the presence of groups of drones in the area adjacent to the country’s airspace.

At the same time, as noted, a large number of explosions were recorded on the Ukrainian side of the Danube, near the port of Izmail.
It was later established that one of the aircraft fell to the ground in the commune of Grindu, Tulcea County. According to the agency, possible fragments of a drone were found at the site.
It should be noted that on the night of November 11, the Russian army struck massive strike by drones in Odesa region. As a result of the attack, energy and transport infrastructure facilities were damaged, and one person was injured.
We will remind, the Supreme Council of National Defense of Romania in September completed the development methodological framework for the application of legislation on shooting down drones and military aircraft that violate the country’s airspace.
Romania too hope soon establish the production of drones on its territory jointly with Ukraine for domestic use, as well as for member states of the European Union and NATO.
