Head coach of the Catalan “Girona” Michel spoke about the club’s former striker Artem Dovbyk. In the 2023/24 season, the team had the most successful campaign in history, and the Ukrainian became the top scorer in La Liga.
“Dovbyk spent only a year here, but it seemed as if he had been with Girona all his life. We played well then and won,” Michel noted.
28-year-old Roma striker Artem Dovbyk could change his club registration – the Ukrainian wanted to sign with the club that won the Champions League seven times. The main favorite to sign the Ukrainian was “Milan” – various transfer options were considered, but the deal never happened.
