In Kharkiv, a 16-year-old student was charged with intentionally damaging someone else’s property after he set fire to a locomotive at the “Osnova” railway station. The suspect has already been remanded in custody.

This is reported by the Telegram of the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office.

According to the investigation, the young man found an offer of “easy money” – to commit arson for a monetary reward – through the Telegram messenger, where he received instructions on how to perform the “task”. On the evening of November 7, 2025, around 10:30 p.m., a teenager doused one of the locomotives with a pre-prepared incendiary mixture, set it on fire with a lighter, and filmed the ignition for a “report.” As a result of the fire, JSC “Ukrzaliznytsia” suffered damages, the amount of which is currently being determined. The teenager fled the scene, but was later arrested.

We will remind that a resident of Alexandria was sentenced to 6 years in prison for setting fire to a military vehicle commissioned by the Russian Federation.

The police in Mykolaiv delayed underage military personnel recruited by the Russian special services. Teenagers aged 14, 16 and 13 set two vehicles on fire for money.

In Odesa, the Security Service together with the National Police delayed a group of young men who set fire to military vehicles. The attackers acted on the order of the Russian FSB.
