The Catalan grant has accumulated the largest debt in the history of football, but continues to actively develop commercial projects to keep the sport competitive.

Barcelona has suffered significant losses over the past decade, with 2021 being the most critical year. At the time, the club declared a deficit of 555.4 million euros, which was the biggest financial failure recorded in the football industry.
Despite the difficult situation, the management does not focus exclusively on cost reduction. Instead, the club is actively expanding its commercial activities and looking for new financial streams. Such a strategy is designed to allow Barcelona to remain competitive at the highest level and maintain their status as Europe’s top club, even in conditions of record debts.
