Regular world champion according to the WBA version in super heavyweight Kubrat Pulev (32-3, 14 KOs) is ready to enter the ring against the undefeated British Moses Itauma (13-0, 11 KOs). This was announced by the Bulgarian’s promoter John Wirth.

“Pulev intends to defend the WBA title against Itauma if Moses agrees and is willing to accept the fight. Kubrat is a proud champion, he has accepted every challenge in his career, and he will fight the Briton if the conditions are right,” Wirth said.

This matchup will take place if the representative of Bulgaria manages to defeat the Russian Murat Gassiev (32-2, 25 KZ) in the confrontation on December 12 in Dubai (UAE).

Pulev had 35 fights throughout his career and won 32 (14 of them by knockout). Rivals of the Bulgarian were often strong and famous boxers – Derek Chisora, Anthony Joshua, Huey Fury, Kevin Johnson, Tony Thompson.

In 2014, Kubrat tried to take the title of world champion in a fight with the legendary Ukrainian Volodymyr Klitschko, but was defeated by knockout in the fifth round.
