Details: Responding to the crisis, Lubinets sent official letters to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, the Ministry of Justice of Italy, the Vice-President of the European Parliament Pina Picerno, the Ombudsman of Italy and the Lazio region Marino Fardelli, as well as to the National Guarantor of the Rights of Persons Deprived of Personal Liberty – an institution that protects the rights of detainees in places of deprivation of liberty.

He took part in a rally where he demanded to urgently create proper conditions of detention for a citizen of Ukraine, and also, taking into account his health, to urgently provide medicine and food. In addition, Horodetsky personally delivered a letter from me to the Ministry of Justice of Italy.”
Details: Lubinets emphasized that the detention of Kuznetsov in a high-security prison in inappropriate conditions is unacceptable and contradicts the Convention on the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms.
