After defeating Lorenzo Musetti in the final of the competition, Novak tore his shirt.
Djokovic won the 101st trophy of his career, the second of the season and the 14th category of the ATP 250. In addition to Musetti, Novak also beat Alejandro Tabilo, Nuna Borges and Yannick Hanfmann in Athens.
The tournament in Athens was originally supposed to be held in Belgrade, but due to Novak’s conflict with the authorities (Djokovic’s family owns the license to hold the competition), a decision was made to postpone it.
