It is difficult to remember such a number of ballistic missiles that directly attacked energy facilities, even since the beginning of the war. Therefore, of course, there are consequences.”

Details: At the same time, Grynchuk noted that it was already possible to “stabilize the system a little and transfer it to hourly outage schedules so that it would be easier for consumers to plan their actions in connection with power outages.”

She assured that “statements that the power industry and other services were not prepared are completely untrue,” stressing that it is necessary to apply blackout schedules for repair and stabilization works.

“The most difficult situation was in Kharkiv, Poltava, Donetsk regions, as well as in Sumy and Chernihiv regions, because they were attacked again in the evening, because certain network lines were damaged, which did not allow to transfer sufficient amount of electricity, there are voltage surges. Now there is already some success,” said Grynchuk.

According to her, the gas infrastructure was also partially damaged during the November 8 attack, but it has already been partially restored.

“We continue to work. There is no critical situation here yet. We are working on attracting additional imports in order to feel more stable during the heating season. There is tremendous support from our international partners,” the minister said.

According to her, since the beginning of October, this was already the fifth mass attack by missiles of various types on energy facilities, as well as the seventh major attack on gas infrastructure.

What preceded: On November 8, the enemy attacked energy infrastructure facilities in Kyiv, Kirovohrad, Poltava, Kharkiv and Dnipropetrovsk regions.

Also, Russia massively bombarded the gas infrastructure of Naftogaz with missiles and drones, there were hits.

It was reported that the Russian army had inflicted the most massive attack on the Tsentrenergo TPP since the beginning of the war, and the generation of electricity at the company’s TPP was stopped.

Also, Russia again attacked the DTEK thermal power plant.
