18-year-old forward of Empoli Bohdan Popov could not finish the match of the 12th round of Serie B against Catanzaro. The Ukrainian started in the starting line-up, but was withdrawn at the end of the first half of the meeting.

Popov received the first warning in the 27th minute, and in the 44th the referee showed a second yellow card, after which Empoli was forced to continue the game in the minority.

In the current season, he has already managed to score five goals in 12 matches, becoming an important figure in the club’s attack.

Popov is a student of Dynamo Kyiv, where he trained and played for youth teams before moving to Italy.
