“We played a very good first half and deserved to win in the first half.
Maybe it’s emotional now, but it seemed to me that we outplayed our opponent and were sharper. Yes, there were long shots near our goal, but we were sharper.
We didn’t have enough quality in the transition phases today to score more goals. In order to beat a team like Colossus, you need to play more than one half. At least 75-80 minutes. In the second half, they sat functionally.
I would like to emphasize that the opponent’s players were very good substitutes. They added pace and we didn’t have enough of it. It was very difficult for our substitutes to enter such a game. Better quality is needed – somewhere they didn’t get into the game. And we missed from our mistakes – the opponent pressed, pressed, and we couldn’t counter it,” said the Ukrainian specialist.
