The national team of Portugal decided on the application for the selection match for the 2026 World Cup against the national teams of Ireland and Armenia.

The head coach of the team, Roberto Martinez, called up a total of 25 players.

Goalkeepers: Diogo Costa (Porto), Jose Sa (Wolverhampton), Rui Silva (Sporting L).

Defenders: Diogo Dalo (Manchester United), Nelson Semedo (Fenerbahce), Juan Cancelo (Al Hilal), Mateusz Nunes (Manchester City), Ruben Dias (Manchester City), Gonzalo Inacio (Sporting L), Antonio Silva (Benfica), Renato Veiga (Villarreal).

Midfielders: Juan Palinha (Tottenham), Ruben Neves (Al Hilal), Juan Neves, Vitinho (both PSG), Bruno Fernandes (Manchester United), Bernardo Silva (Manchester City).
