Earlier it was reported that the head of the capital’s Desnyanskyi district during a public event lashed out at a member of the Kyiv City Council from the “UDAR” party, Vitaliy Klychka.

The corresponding draft decision was supported by 69 votes out of 83.
“An attack on a deputy is an attack on the entire body of deputies and the community of the capital, which we all represent. The use of physical force by the head of the RDA is incompatible with his official duties and the status of a public servant. Bakhmatov’s stay as the head of the Desnyansk RDA after this incident discredits the state authorities and the President of Ukraine personally. We appeal to you, Mr. President, to immediately dismiss Maksym Bakhmatov from the post of chairman of Desnyan RDA,” the appeal reads.
Deputies of the Kyiv City Council also appealed to First Lady Olena Zelenska to publicly support the position on preventing violence in politics and ensuring equal rights and respect for women in power.
“We insist on an immediate response and call to demonstrate a decisive position in protecting the honor and dignity of both the elected representatives of the community and every citizen of Ukraine,” the appeal reads.
Earlier it was reported that during a public event, the head of the capital’s Desnyan District attacked Vitalia Klychka, deputy mayor of the Kyiv City Council from the “UDAR” party, Anna Starostenko, just because she wanted to take the floor and approached the microphone.
