Officials of “Kyivmedspetstrans” are suspected of embezzling funds for spare parts for “fast” cars

The prosecutor’s office informed the deputy director of the municipal association “Kyivmedspetstrans” of suspicion of embezzlement of funds allocated for the purchase of spare parts for ambulances. The prosecutor’s office reported the suspicion to the deputy director of the communal association “Kyivmedspetstrans” in the embezzlement of funds allocated for the purchase of spare parts for ambulances.

According to the investigation, the officials secured the victory in the tender to the “necessary” company, which received the contract for UAH 5.4 million. In the future, spare parts were supplied at inflated prices, which caused losses in over UAH 1.9 million.

The suspect is Volodymyr Kushnir, who signed contracts. He is charged with part 5 of Art. 191 of the Criminal Code — appropriation of budget funds by conspiracy of a group of persons. The head of the company’s material and technical support service also appears in the case.
