Rybakina, who won three victories, took first place after three rounds. Her meeting with Aleksandrova had no tournament significance – even before the game, the representative of Kazakhstan guaranteed herself a playoff.
Anisimova became the second in the quartet. Amanda clinched a ticket to the semi-finals against Sveontek – the result of their face-to-face match and determined the second playoff participant from this quartet.
Svyontek, having scored one point, left the tournament. Keys (as well as Aleksandrova) have also completed performances in Riyadh.
In the semifinals, Rybakina will play against the tennis player who will take the second place in the group, Steffi Graf, and Anisimova will meet with the winner of that quartet.
