Since 2014, the management of “miners” has been based in the capital of Ukraine, but the team constantly plays in different cities and in different arenas. In the current season, Shakhtar plays home games in Lviv.
According to the source, the club understands that the construction of its own arena in Kyiv could solve problems both with logistics and attracting a permanent audience.
“Shakhtar” continues the search for an optimal solution and at this stage is considering two options – either the construction of a new stadium or the return to NSC “Olympiyskyi”. It is worth noting that both events will be possible only after the cessation of hostilities.
“Miners” ordered sociological research to find out about the interest in the club among the residents of Kyiv – whether fans are ready to go to the new arena, or whether it will be convenient for fans to visit NSC “Olimpiyskiy”.
Based on the results of the research, a final decision will be made.
