“Ukrzaliznytsia” (UZ) temporarily restricted the movement of passenger trains in the Kramatorsk direction to the borders of the Kharkiv region.
This decision was dictated by security factors, said the head of the Donetsk regional state administration, Vadym Filashkin.
The restriction applies to all five long-distance trains. Passengers receive detailed notifications about the final station directly on the day of departure.
- Transportation organization: To ensure logistics between Kramatorsk-Slovyansk and the temporary terminal station, bus shuttles are organized. Conductors and station employees accompany passengers and help them find their way around.
- Suburban traffic: Suburban traffic in Donetsk region is also temporarily restricted, in particular the connections Bantysheve – Kramatorsk and Sloviansk – Raihorodok.
The head of the State Administration emphasized that the safety of people is the most important priority, and traffic will be restored as soon as it becomes possible.
On October 24, the Russian occupiers tried to attack passenger train #104/103 Lviv–Kramatorsk near Kramatorsk station. Fortunately, no one was hit and no one was injured.
We will remind, “Ukrzaliznytsia” launched an additional train from Kyiv.
