The changes came after numerous calls from the CS2 community for Valve to make the majors bigger, like most of the other big events on the esports calendar, where deciding matches are played to three wins.
Budapest Major 2025 will start on November 24 and will gather 32 teams that will gradually overcome the stages of the tournament until the grand final.
