Source: NGL.media with reference to decisions from the register of court decisions Details: Journalists write that during official business trips, Mykhailyshyn did not perform official duties, but went abroad with his family. According to law enforcement officers, he made such trips at least five times under the guise of business trips. For example, in July 2022, the official received a business trip to Prague allegedly to prepare proposals for the opening of new points for issuing ID cards and foreign passports. However, he did not make it to Prague – instead he visited Slovenia and Hungary with his family. According to the publication, similar trips were repeated in 2023-2024: Mykhailyshyn and his family visited Hungary, Slovenia and Italy, each trip lasting from four to seven days. During this time, his “business trip” expenses amounted to almost 58 thousand hryvnias, which were compensated by the state budget. In addition, Mykhailyshyn and his first deputy Oleksandr Berdar repeatedly traveled abroad on private matters, despite the restrictions of martial law, which forbid men of conscription age from leaving. As part of the proceedings, law enforcement officers have already conducted searches and seized official documents. NGL.media reported that Ihor Mykhailyshyn is on sick leave and cannot comment on the case. The publication notes that Mykhailyshyn has been the head of the Regional Department of Internal Affairs for more than 14 years, before that he worked in the passport divisions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.”, — write: www.pravda.com.ua
