“Ukrenergo”: restrictions on electricity consumption are planned for November 4 in some regions

“Ukrenergo” announces restrictions on electricity consumption in certain regions on November 4 for both the population and industry due to the consequences of massive Russian missile and drone attacks on energy facilities.

Hourly shutdown schedules will be applied from 08:00 to 11:00 and from 15:00 to 22:00, with a volume of 0.5 to 1.5 shifts, capacity limitation schedules: from 08:00 to 11:00 and from 15:00 to 22:00 – for industrial consumers.

The company warned that the time and scope of restrictions may change.

Ukrenergo also announced restrictions on electricity consumption on November 3, but later canceled these measures.

In recent weeks, the Russian military has intensified its shelling of the Ukrainian energy and gas infrastructure, which supplies people with gas during the heating season.

In August, the Ministry of Energy reported that since March 2025, Russian forces have carried out more than 2,900 attacks on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure.
