“Promoter Ihor Faniyan spoke about the plans of former world champion Viktor Postol”, — write: sport.ua
On October 11, the Ukrainian boxer defeated the Spaniard Alejandro Moya by unanimous decision of the judges and won the IBO International title.
“Viktor Postol is a great guy. He once again proved to the whole country that even at the age of 42 you can demonstrate a high level of boxing if you organize your life and training process correctly. We are proud of him and wish him more victories. The battle was bright and intense.
The Spaniard definitely did not come to lose – he came to win. However, Viktor did not allow this. The fight was tough for both, especially given the dissection. But Postol persevered and proved his skill.
As for further plans – we are waiting for the offer of a fight for the title of the world champion. The current IBO world champion – Adam Azim refused to fight with Postol, but now the situation has changed and we are ready for negotiations.
I really want the fight for the title of world champion to take place in Ukraine. It would be fantastic to organize two title fights in different versions at once,” said Faniyan.
