From November 3, 2025, JSC “Ukrzaliznytsia” limited the movement of a number of suburban trains in the Sumy region.
This is related to the updating of routes and optimization of passenger transportation, reports the official Telegram channel of the company.
Trains #6101 and #6102 have changed routes. Now they will run along the directions “Vorozhba – Konotop” and “Konotop – Vorozhba” instead of the previously established “Vorozhba – Bakhmach” and “Bahmach – Vorozhba”, respectively.
It is noted that train #6101 departed from the original station with a delay of 4 hours.
Earlier, from October 22, 2025, trains #6542 and #6543 on the routes “Konotop – Neplyueve” and “Neplyueve – Konotop” were canceled. They were replaced by trains #6544, departing at 14:20, #6541 departing at 04:49, and #6545, departing at 16:45.
In addition, from October 24, 2025, changes were introduced for the movement of trains in the Sumy region. In particular, train #7009 now runs only to Sumy station instead of Vorozhba. Train No. 7010 is limited to the Sumy – Kharkiv-Pass route.
The cancellation concerns train #6013, which previously ran between Sumy and Vorozhba. Train No. 6010 changed its route to Sumy – Kirikivka, and No. 6893 was canceled. Instead, train No. 6894 began to run “Sumy – Trostyanets-Smorodyne”.
The change of the route of train #6011 is also indicated. It now departs from Trostyanets-Smorodyne station at 3:09 p.m. with a stop at Virynsky Zavod station before arriving at Vorozhba at 8:45 p.m.
As a reminder, UZ disclosed the details of the 3,000 km free trips program.
Also, the new UZ-3000 program will help relieve the demand for tickets.
