The young man acted in favor of the enemy, installing hidden cameras near railway tracks in the Poltava and Kirovohrad regions.
Video from the device was broadcast online, which allowed the occupiers to monitor the movement of Ukrainian equipment.
According to the SBU, the equipment installed by the agent was equipped with an additional battery and a remote access channel that provided direct communication with Russian curators.
In this way, the enemy could calculate the number of armored vehicles heading to the front and plan possible attacks on military facilities. In addition, the spy tried to gather information about the location of air defense systems in the central regions of Ukraine.
The investigation established that the boy came to the attention of the Russian special services through Telegram channels, where he was promised “easy earnings.” Following the instructions of the curators, he had to make photo reports with geolocations and send them to Russia.
His activities were exposed in time – SBU operatives detained the agent at his place of residence, having previously dismantled the spy equipment.
