A famous trainer Oleg Dulubwho previously worked in the championship of Ukraine, shared his opinion about what helped the coach of the “white-and-blue” win against a difficult opponent.
“Substitutions became key. First of all, it is Brazhko’s departure in place of Mykhaylenko at the beginning of the second half. After his appearance in “Dynamo”, the Brazhko-Pikhalyonok-Buyalskyi triangle immediately began to work.
Brazhko punched from outside the penalty area, Pikhalyonok made three shots that led to corner kicks, from which Buyalskyi served. From the third time, Brazhko gets to the ball and shoots, after which Guerrero finds himself on the finish and scores the winning goal.
Dynamo used the flanks well. The average age of the teams should also be noted. The difference is three years in favor of “Dynamo”: 26.8 against 23.5. If we take the players, then the experience of Yarmolenko (36), Buyalskyi (32), Karavaev (32), Pikhalyonka (28) played its role.
