The Agency for Strategic Reserves of the Government of Poland organized another humanitarian aid for Ukraine – this time a large batch of children’s antibiotics was delivered.
This was reported by RARS on the social network Kh.
The delivery was made in cooperation with the Tarkhomin pharmaceutical plants “Polfa” SA, which transferred the medicines within the framework of the European Union Population Protection Mechanism (UCPM).
The Polish side emphasized that children’s hospitals in Ukraine are currently in particular need of such drugs due to the war and the constant burden on the health care system.
In total, Ukrainian medical institutions received 29,835 packages of “Polcylin” antibiotics in the volume of 60 ml and 125 ml. These medicines will be distributed among hospitals in the regions that have suffered the greatest destruction and continue to suffer from the consequences of the hostilities.
The aid is aimed primarily at supporting children who remain in frontline areas or have been evacuated from dangerous areas.
Poland’s Strategic Reserves Agency emphasized that it will continue to support Ukraine in the field of medicine, logistics and humanitarian supplies.
Thanks to the mechanisms of the European Union, such operations take place without interruption, which allows us to quickly respond to the requests of Ukrainian medical institutions.
Warsaw has repeatedly stated that cooperation with Ukraine in the humanitarian sphere will remain one of the priorities of the Polish government.
It will be recalled that Poland will build three factories for the production of 155-mm projectiles.
The ex-prime minister of Poland also called for the extradition of its men of draft age to Ukraine.
