In an interview with Slava Dyomina, Buzhinska admitted that she did not see anything wrong with the fact that her mother could raise her hand against her. In her opinion, there was no other way to deal with such a character that she had in childhood:
“Yes, I thank my mother for that. With my character – how else? If I was like a wayward horse. There was no time (to raise – UNIAN) – it was such a quick method, because there was no time to talk, there were no psychologists, there was no understanding that childhood is more important to children than success in school.”
However, according to the singer, she has good memories of her childhood. She noted that she felt like a happy child.
“I had a great childhood: I ate very well, we constantly rested, went to the seas. Everything I wanted was bought for me, everyone loved me. That is, I was a happy child, despite the fact that my mother used to be able to me…” – she said.
In turn, the interviewer Slava Demin tried to convey to the artist that beating children is not the correct method of education. However, Kateryna did not change her mind:
“So what? I quickly realized that this was not right.”
At the same time, the singer noted that she would not repeat the same thing with her children. In cases where they are not obeyed, Buzhynska applies a system of fines.
“Now it’s the same story with my Dmytryk. But I don’t hit him in any way, I just say: ‘a fine of 20 euros’, and it works,” Kateryna said.
