“Invaders are causing damage in the areas of settlements bordering the Russian Federation. The settlements of Zareche, Khrinivka of Chernihiv region were hit by artillery fire; Bobylivka, White Birch of the Sumy region,” the daily summary says.
Two-thirds of the battles were recorded in three adjacent directions in the Donetsk region – Kostyantynivskyi, Pokrovskyi and Oleksandrivskyi.
“In the direction of Kostyantynivka today, the invader tried to advance 24 times in the areas of Oleksandr-Kalynovy, Shcherbynivka, Pleshchiivka, Yablunivka and Rusyny Yar. Enemy aircraft hit Kostyantynivka with KABs.
Today, in the Pokrovsky direction, the enemy attacked the positions of our defenders 23 times in the areas of Nikanorivka, Pankivka, Sukhetske, Rodynske, Myrolyubivka, Promin, Lysivka, Pokrovsk, Zvirove and Molodetske. Five clashes continue until now.
In the Oleksandrivskyi direction, our defenders repelled enemy attacks in the areas of Zeleny Gay, Filia, Piddubne, Oleksandrograd, Novoselivka, Verbove, Oleksiivka, Novogrigorivka, and Uspenivka settlements. 17 out of 20 offensive actions of the enemy have been repulsed, three more clashes are ongoing,” the message states.
Fighting also continued in the North-Slobozhansk and Kursk, South-Slobozhansk, Kupyansk, Lymansk, Slovyansk, Gulyaipil, Orihiv and Dnieper directions.
Earlier, the General Staff reported that Ukrainian forces liberated 182.8 square kilometers on the territory of the Pokrovsky district of the Donetsk region, and another 230.1 square kilometers were cleared from the enemy’s DGR.
British intelligence has reiterated that Pokrovsk is likely to remain a priority for Russia, with the largest share of Russian attacks there compared to the rest of the front line.
